LENY is a blond batavia to be sold in trays. This variety is suitable for both open field and indoor cultivation. It is characterised by large, dense heads with a bright green, semi-open head formation. It has the best storage quality in the field. In terms of health, LENY incorporates high resistance to downy mildew (races 16, 19, 21, 23 EU) and green aphid. It also has intermediate resistance to Lettuce Mosaic Virus 1. In addition, it is very robust against botrytis.
