Sorrel can be produced and marketed in two ways: as young shoots for mescluns or fresh for its aromatic qualities. It has entered modern cooking, particularly under the influence of French cuisine (omelette, soup, etc.). Sorrel is also an excellent stuffing for fish. SORREL
Traditional variety, slow to set seed. Tart, slightly lemony flavour, perfect with fish, creamy sauces, eggs, etc.
Thick, oval, dark green leaf with red veins, very nice contrast. Very good taste. Adapted to heat, for late spring, summer and autumn production.
Sorry, the variety is no longer in the catalog.
